This purifier was pretty good, such that after a couple months of owning one I actually came back and bought another one so I can have one in my kitchen and one in my bedroom. The fan is really quiet, and the display is nice and bright so I can see it from very far away but there is an option to dim it and an option to have it off completely. The timer feature from the app is nice so I can set it to be off and save power when I'm away during the day.

Yes it does. First, make an account through the Mi Home app on your mobile device. Create a profile and connect to the air purifier on the "+" menu. Make sure you have bluetooth enabled.
Once you've connected the air purifier to the Mi Home app, you can open your Google Home app. You then need to link your Mi Home app to your Google home app, either under your Home name when you first load in, or through the settings menu under the "Works with Google" option.
The purifier you linked through Mi Home should show up under the "choose device" menu. From there, you should be able to control the purifier through Google Assistant.

Xiaomi states that the filter lifetime is 6-12 months. The air purifier will notify you when it is time to replace the filter. The actual filter lifespan will depend on the unit's location and the amount of impurities in the air. However, if the unit is notifying you to replace the filter, it is always recommended to replace it to ensure the best air quality for your space.
